 there is a wiki page called "Logs" with some optional searches.. I dbb
 looked briefly at "recent protection" "orphaned pages" or something that
 shows errors .. but nothing about Advocates and nothing unusual  -- no
 clues

 you can see this existed at one time, here

 "OSGeo Advocate" is listed among "All Pages" but the link fails
