 So would you want it to be a redirect, or should it really also shhow as

 https://blog.geoserver.org  (with no redirect)

 If you want it to not have a redirect, then I think
 https://geoserver.org/blog would have to have it's own github-pages set to
 domain blog.geoserver.org.
