Do you NEED SATA or SAS?

There are quite a few Samsung 860 Pro SATA disks available on ebay.
I've bought from this reseller in the past and they seem reputable:

The remaining endurance / write capacity is important, unfortunately
not stated by listing.
Firmware easily available, but may need to flashed from ISO when
connected to SATA controller (not hardware RAID)

They also have larger Samsung disks, but no direct experience with this model:

Firmware is harder to find, but few forums have links.
