dear all @ osgeo scotland,

Am planning a workshop on "Open Mapping" at the Electron Club in Glasgow
on July 19th. It is part of a workshop series supported by JISC DevCSI -
http://devcsi.ukoln.ac.uk - supporting developers in academia.

The aim is to help people who are using Google Maps get off it and do
more interesting things. Using some of Andy Wightman's data on Common
Good land in Edinburgh and Glasgow as a test case - he may even come
along as may Rob from http://forage.rs ...

Bob Kerr from Openstreetmap is going to do a talk / tutorial as is Lasma
our local PostGIS guru at EDINA - am still looking for more people to
help out in tutorial/hackday mode, especially covering Mapnik and
OpenLayers.... any interest here?
