Hi all,

it is difficult for me to stay updated with all the email, so sorry in
advanced.

Just speaking of my personal experience of tools and text formats, I
rally think that the choice depends on the final backend (e.g. sphinx,
Hugo, etc). Some backends want rst, others md and so on.

With sphinx  you can mix md and rst in the same project and both files
are built without problems.

Using too many tools to convert from -> to -> from (I use pandoc a lot)
is also not the best solution: in the end something is not in the best
shape and you spend more time in correcting some small stuff than to
write the new text from scratch.
