The sourcecode you given't away? ;), the problem ist, that i write st like
your tool too.
(Not in this way but i try to show shapefiles too. But if i try i allways
get false values.)
Or can you show me the Part were you read out the Objects and paint them?
This dont work
in my project :(

it's still in beta developpement, but if you have any ideas for the tool,

just in case of, is your .shp in a valid format ?

try it with http://www.ouhlavache.com/stv/ShpReader_beta.rar (my tool for
ready the shp files)

and if it works, i'll upload the sources and you'll can see the project
files !
