Note that channel is both public and logged, I wonder if there is any
sense moving it to a private channel once we all arrive?

If not, we will have to be careful about discussing the relevant merits
of applications [projects should have done that already within
themselves], so students listening in will not have their feelings hurt
or be given a false sense of success. Remember that students are told
that applications were to be kept private.
