Thanks for listing the projects! The "Laval University/Camptocamp" 
proposal is indeed based on AJAX/Javascript technologies. I have to find 
a name for the project (better than "Laval University/Camptocamp" ;-)), 
as the aim of this proposal is to initiate a new open source project 
which could be of interest for the OSGeo and the geospatial community.

In addition, I have advertised the OSGeo / GSoc 2008 opportunity in 
different departments here in Laval University and in the francophone 
community (Francophone local chapter, various lists and in Baliz Media 
http://media.baliz-geospatial.com/fr/blogue/Google-et-OSGeo-ensemble-pour-le-Google-Summer-of-Code-2008)
