[SoC] Weekly Report for Week 4. gvSIG.

Hi all,

That's been another pretty intense week of studying and working.

I summarize a little bit the activities of this quite intense week.

What have I done:

   - finished the tests of the SQLite-JDBC Driver and SpatiaLite (found
   several problems)
   - discussed with mentors about which would be the best approach for
   supporting spatial sqlite databases:
   primary task will be supporting featrues proposed into FDO documents
   about the features of the spatial support of Sqlite and its implementation
   [1]
   - started implementation of library for supporting spatial features with
   sqlite according to FDO document
   - started the implementation of a class for reading (and maybe writing)
   SpatiaLite's BLOBs' informations.

What I plan to do next week:

   - finish (if possible) the first version of the implementation of the
   library for supporting spatial features with sqlite according to FDO
   document
   - finish the decode method for SpatiaLite's BLOB
   - reviewing "IEEE Standard for Floating-Point Arithmetic (IEEE 754)"
