[SoC] GSoC 2011 Proposals

Hi!

I am Vipul Raheja, an undergraduate student at the Lab for Spatial
Informatics at the International Institute of Information Technology,
Hyderabad, India. I have am really interested in the PostGIS Raster
and OSSIM projects at GSoC, 2011. I have been studying PostGIS since a
semester now, and am really interested in doing the project on
implementing the two raster version of ST_MapAlgebra; regarding the
OSSIM Project, I am really interested in helping its functionalities
be made available to other spatial analysis tools and libraries.
Further, I want to make contributions to the projects and the OSGeo
community.

I have been in contact with the developers, Pierre Racine and Jorge
Arevalo of PostGIS Raster, for the past few weeks now and with Massimo
Di Stefano of OSSIM Project, and have been intensively discussing the
depths and breadths of the project with them. I have submitted the
proposals for the same at:
