[SoC] QGIS Symbology Improvements - First Weekly Report

Well, strictly speaking this is a summary of what all I have worked on
so far, I started a couple of days earlier than the coding period to
compensate for the time I would lose during exam time.

== What did I do this week? ==

I started off working with my first Target, "Grouping of SVG symbols".
I have pretty much finished it. My mentor Martin, had some suggestion
to improve the implementation, and I finished that too.

== What will I be working on next week? ==

I will be working on implementation of Grouping of other symbols that
are used in the symbology like the point, line and polygon symbols.
So, I will be modifying the XML tree which stores the style
information and including nodes accommodate grouping tags.

My co-mentor is proposing a tag based system, hence we will have to
discuss it with the community and decide which would be better.

== Did I meet with any stumbling blocks? ==

Not in anyway related to coding for the project, but personally I am
juggling my time between exam schedules and coding. Then got into a
tussle with my system, trying to upgrade to Ubuntu 12.04 and ended up
breaking my dependencies.
