[SoC] GSoC 2017 - keep on track for evaluation phase 2 in end of July

Dear students,

according to the offical GSoC timeline [1] there are now about 2 weeks left until evaluation phase 2:

July 24 16:00 UTC 	Mentors and students can begin submitting Phase 2 evaluations
July 28 16:00 UTC 	Phase 2 Evaluation deadline

It's a good time now and highly recommended to

* to re-calculate and re-define your GSoC time commitment that is needed to produce your deliverables for evaluation phase 2
* to re-design your work packages with your mentors if needed in order that your deliverables for evaluation phase 2 are then available
* to inform your project communities about coding progress e.g. by a blog post

A good and needed starting point for the activity items above is that your weekly tasks are referenced with your commits in public. it's already mentioned here in the SOC ML[2].

And "release early, release often" ... the best open source development mantra ever ... don't wait with your code commits until the end of the coding period.
