Software maintenance Satellite mission (PROBA-V)

Function:

* You are responsable for the Software maintenance of the user part of Proba V.

Profile:
* You have an in-dept knowledge of LINUX/UNIX and basics of relational
databases (Oracle) , it’s not necessary to be an Oracle expert but you
should be able to work with databases.
* You have an in-dept experience of JAVA for the maintenance of the
workflows (JOSI) and database interfaces.
* You have experience in C++ for the algorithmic modules (DIF, PF and
IQC) and also experience in Python for HMIs (dashboard consoles, PQC
and IPC).
* You have specific experience for PDF: Java, JBoss, MapServer, Apache
Tomcat,...
* Background knowledge in Earth observation/remote sensing would be a plus.
* You have completed Bachelor of Master degree in a computer science discipline.
* You have an analytical mind and you are conscientious and efficient
in your work.
* You have a very good command of Dutch and English.
