Dear colleagues,
in the field of Geocomputation there are two new opportunities that I would
like to share:
1) in view of the good response (sold out!!) of
5th International Summer School held at Matera - Italy - University of
Basilicata, *Geocomputation using free and Open Source Software (3th-7th
June 2019) <http://spatial-ecology.net/test/>,*
www.spatial-ecology.net in cooperation with Wageningen University &
Research - WUR <https://www.wur.nl/en.htm> is organizing another Summer
School
*Geocomputation using free and Open Source Software*
<https://www.pe-rc.nl/geocomputation> (8th-12th July 2019), held at
Wageningen, The Netherlands - Registration is ongoing.
2) If you are attending CUAHSI's 2019 Conference on Hydroinformatics
<http://www.cvent.com/events/2019-cuahsi-conference-on-hydroinformatics/event-summary-ac42882aaf9449b1ae6cf873183686da.aspx>
this summer, you can attend
a 4 hours workshop *Use GDAL, PKTOOLS and GRASS for massive raster
operations in hydrology
<http://www.cvent.com/events/2019-cuahsi-conference-on-hydroinformatics/custom-20-ac42882aaf9449b1ae6cf873183686da.aspx>
*
In both of the events, participants will be guided through the use of a
command line interface using advanced open source data processing routines
for geo-computation in Linux environment.
Please forward to interested colleagues
Sincerely
--
