Hi all,
I have got some more information if you are trying to use the Sri Lanka
projection 5234 in QGIS 2.0 and you do not see it.
If you are using Windows, it should work right out of the box. If you are
using Mac OS or Linux or compiling manually and you don't see the
projection right out of the box, it is because QGIS didn't repopulate its
projection database (srs.db) automatically when installing the new version
(this happened to me, it depends on the installer).
If you are having this issue, to fix it, you should search for a tool
call crssync (it should ship with QGIS). Then you run it, and it will
re-populate the srs.db with the latest projection that are shipped with the
GDAL library you installed (you should have got 1.10).

Let me know if you have any issues and I can help you walk through the
steps,

Best,

Vivien
