[OSGeo-Standards] FYI: Public comment on draft charter for Web Feature Service/Filter Encoding revision group

Dear OSGeo community -

Based on a number of submitted Change Requests, a new Web Feature Service/Filter Encoding (WFS/FE) Standards Working Group (SWG) is being convened. The draft charter is now ready for review. The draft charter may be found here:

The purpose of the OWS WFS/FES SWG is to address the CR's that have been 
posted to the OGC change request page as well as those found in engineering 
reports produced during the OGC Web Services 8 test bed.

The public comment period shall remain open until November 14, 2011.
