> Under the Earth Observation Clouds (EOC) thread, Testbed 13 developed a standards-based mechanism to make any type of application available as a cloud service. This allows the execution of big data processes close to the actual data and avoids expensive data transports. 
> The Cross Community Interoperability (CCI) thread in Testbed 13 was tasked with a wide range of technologies and problems, including: data quality and geospatial taxonomies in the Aviation domain; access to geospatial data Limited Bandwidth (DDIL) environments; styling, MapML, and semantics; further development of MapML; and more.
> The Streaming and 3D Data (S3D) thread advanced three dimensional visualization and data streaming capabilities.
> The Dynamic Source Integration (DSI) thread explored secure data exchange in the context of Mass Migration Scenarios.
> The Compliance Testing (COT) thread advanced reference implementations and tests for GEOINT profiles (NSG WFS 2.0 and NSG WMTS 1.0).
