I would like to thank Henrique, Greg, Jonathon, Rob and Rajat for having the courage to speak out in a public forum about their thoughts.

We have a proposed Memorandum of Understanding that will enable the OSGeo Community to better participate in the standards facilitation process. This will in turn help the us to get what we need as open source developers, users and proponents embedded within the standards to better meet out needs.

However, we need more input from our community.

It is important to us as a community that we have a clear understanding of why we want to work with and progress open spatial standards.

Therefore, I’ll leave this thread open for a bit longer.

Please contribute your thoughts.

Kind regards,

Bruce
