Mapserver does not display my MrSID

Hi Yar,

Welcome to the world of Mapserver!  You have emailed the Twin Cities
Mapserver Users Group list.  We are a group of Mapserver users (new
and old) in the Twin Cities, Minnesota Area.  We try to get together
monthly to discuss individual problems with Mapserver as well as to to
see demonstrations of what people in the area are doing with
Mapserver.

If you would like to come out, our next meeting is this Thursday at
the Metropolitan Airports Commission (directions, time, and map at the

).

Queries about Mapserver should still go the main Mapserver listserv (
http://lists.umn.edu/archives/mapserver-users.html ).  On that list,
you will get help from not just the handfull of people in the local
Mapserver users group -- but from hundreds of users around the world.

With that said, Mapserver does need to be compiled to use GDAL. This
is done using the configure option --with-gdal.   Are you using
precompiled binaries?  Can you give us the output of mapserv -v?
