WorkShop Details.

Bobb,

1.) I would prefer a lecture style. It's probably not enough time to go through everything any way. Maybe some handouts we can take with a demo or tutorial on it would be good to get people started.
2.) It would be nice to take the code with us on a CD and then let people play with it for a few weeks and then vote at the next TCMUG meeting. It is hard to say how the City should continue with this effort until the user community gets a chance to play around with the code.

Thanks for putting this all together!
Brian

Subject: WorkShop Details.

All,

I'm putting together the curriculum for the Workshop. A couple of
questions came up though. The Morning will be spent explaining our
architecture and why things got grouped the way they did with respect to
the data and the code. The afternnon will be spent on digging into the
code.

    * Would folks prefer a Lecture or Lab for the Afternoon session?
o A lecture would progress very quickly
o A Lab might be useful, but we may need to more fully build a
Demo version of things to take advantage of a LAB.
o My first thought would be to lean towards a Lecture.
    * About the Code release . . . .
o How would everyone like to proceed, vote at the WorkShop and
we hand it out on CD
o Or wait for a followup meeting by the TCMUG and vote there.
o How should we the City Members keep contributing to the effort.
o These last items seem to indicate that a followup meeting
            might be a worthwhile piece.

Probably more later . . .
