Steve,

I am not directly responsible for the session submissions for the conference. However, all decisions go through the conference committee and chair so I will get a chance to direct session tack decisions. Let me find out where things are at with submissions at the next meeting 5/10 and then I will get back to you and the TCMUG. I am sure we can work together to order things to everyone's satisfaction.

Reply is bellow. I think it makes some sense to plan the submissions then. Problem is there is no guarantee that they will group or order things in the way we'd like.

Steve,

My approach was going to be to get an open source track penciled in for planning and then as submissions come in determine if they will fit in the track. In the end I think the idea of an open source track will be decided by how may submissions we get. So spread the word with your network to get people to submit!

Let me know your thoughts.
Kari
