Hypothetically let's say we wanted to meet later than 7pm and not attend
the ASPRS
dinner. Is that a possibility?

Problem solved!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the ASPRS annual dinner meeting set up for next week on Thurs
night
at the Officer's Club.

Come at 5pm, grab a brew and shoot the breeze.

Stick around past 7pm, you can have dinner (bring $25) and listen to
why
the Civil Air Patrol has an aircraft with a hyperspectral scanner in
St.
Paul, and how Lockheed Martin was able to shoehorn in SAR system into
a
UAV!

attached is the announcement.

let me if you will be sticking around for dinner and your dinner
choice.

Hey Perry,

I don't have a preference one way or the other. I'll never vote
against
a social:-) Whatever we decide I can host the next "formal" meeting
at
our office. We would just have to come up with an agenda. I have
some
ideas of things I would like to learn a little more about and a few
things I could show.
Things I would like to learn more about:
- OpenLayers and/or MapBuilder Experiences
- David F. (python mapscript experiences)
- Google Mashups or Google Earth/KML demonstrations
- PostGIS
- MapFile creator utilities (MapStorer, AMeiN!, MapEdit, ArcGIS
extensions)
- WMS-T and tile caching
- WFS/vector rendering in the browser

Things I could show:
- OpenMNND project update
- Mosquito Control District Application Demo
- Fargo-Moorhead Flood Forecast Application demo

-Brian

All is quiet in the great white north front... it must be cold. I'm
torn between having a "formal" meeting and a more social "I want to
drink some Surly" gathering. So, anybody got any agenda they would
like
to bring up?

Who said metadata?
