Hi, Mike Coffey at the Rock Island, IL Ecological Services Field Office
proposes the following. Please contact Mike if you can work with on the
project with him.

The Rock Island, IL Ecological Services Field Office is looking to
contract, preferably USFWS staff, the creation a GIS database (plus
metadata) for 800 fish tissue chemistry data points from along the Middle
Mississippi River. This work is to be completed at your workstation.
Currently, most of the data are in Excel spreadsheets with coordinates.
The database will be used to conduct an ecological risk assessment as part
of a Natural Resources Damage Assessment. We would hope to create the
database by Sept. 30, 2007. Salaries/benefits, any travel, and indirect
costs are reimbursable. Please contact Mike Coffey at 309-757-5800 x206 or
michael_coffey at fws.gov if interested. Thanks. ...Mike

(If anyone wants to tackle this and propose an alternative web-based
approach, you should talk to Mike.)
