All,
We've been experimenting with it here at the Cirty and on a couple of other projects. We've got a service in place already, I'll set it up in our Public facing GeoMoose install before the meeting. If there time, we can look at it as well.

Yes, I'm able to present. Using OSM data for "off-line" maps will be part of the next version of mapFeeder mobile, so I can tie a bit into that topic as well.

Re: [TCMUG] December Meeting? (summary)
Trying to close the loop on this. From all the replies it looks like the 8th at ~3:30pm at
10,000 Friends will work for most folks. Paul can make it and I assume he can present.
The OSM discussion would be a terrific additional topic. Can Matt make it? Several folks
here at the DNR would like to attend if that topic is on the agenda, could have a
great turn out. We could proceed without Matt although he's probably been thinking
about it more than anyone. Anybody else out there with OSM experiences to share?
Tentative agenda is still:
- Paul Wickman mobile MapServer work (30 min)
- an update on the web app contest (10 min)
- a discussion as OpenStreetMap as a repository for government data (50 min)

Hi all: November may be tough but perhaps early Dec. might be a good time to
convene once again. Tuesday the 1st or the 8th might be good candidates. I'd
propose "10,000 Friends" as a host if they're willing.
Some topic ideas would include:
- Paul Wickman mobile MapServer work
- an update on the web app contest
- a discussion as OpenStreetMap as a repository for government data
Might be able to do all three (2 presentations and a briefing)...
Thoughts?
Steve
