[TCMUG] MetroGIS Web Services

Users of Web Services distributed via MetroGIS DataFinder,

Please note that beginning on November 15th, 2011 the Metropolitan Council, which serves as the custodian for MetroGIS DataFinder, will be retiring its use of ArcIMS technology.  All web mapping services previously published by the Metropolitan Council will no longer be available.  Replacement web services created using ESRI ArcGIS Server Technology are now available for you to use.

WMS and WFS will continue to be served, however they will be available at a new URL. KML services are a new addition.

In advance of November 15th, please update any applications or web sites which depend upon the old ArcIMS Services obtained from DataFinder. We encourage you to make use of the new ArcGIS-based web services as a replacement.
