[Tilecache] GoogleMaps and TileCahe

We have successfully implemented TileCahe as a set of resolutions. This
works a treat – performance is super fast compared to WMS version of
overlay.

However this does not work when using GoogleMaps as base data.

We would like to re-cache based on recommended resolutions that are
compatible with Google Maps if that is possible.

Has anyone had any experience at this?

Just try changing to GoogleMap base map and the overlay turns into the
dreaded pink image.
