[Tilecache] Batch Processing of images in Tilecache

Is there a way to create a batch file that mimics tilecache to create
images?

In otherwords I would like to run some process at night that generates the
images that tilecache needs without the user having to click somewhere on an
openlayers map and add those images to the disk location for tilecache.
