Hello,

I am trying to get the following scenario to work:

1. Shape file representing some roads with the following parameters in
GeoServer:
Bounds(27.49844,46.99977,27.99847,47.33311)
SRS: 4326

2. I want to overlay this on top of a OpenLayers.Layer.Google

My questions are:
- what options do I need to use for the OpenLayers.Map in order to correctly
overlay this data?
- I noticed the that critical paremeters needed to be set correctly are:
maxResolution
maxExtent

- if google layer's bounds are (-180, -90, 180, 90) or (-20037508,
-20037508,20037508, 20037508) how can I add layers with different extent to
the same map?
- what value shoud the extent of the map have in order to accomodata both
layers?

I only managed to show one or the other and only when setting the same
extent (bbox) in all 2 places: OpenLayers.Map, OpenLayer.Layer.Google and
tilecache.cfg. Never both of them.

I am setting the Google as isBaseLayer:true and the WMS layer with
isBaseLayer: false.

Is someone has managed to get this working please post some code. I would
highly appreciate any help as I am trying to achive this for almost a week
now with no success.

Thank you!
