[Tilecache] Caching external WMS through a proxy

Hi,
I'm running TileCache on Apache 2.2 but I'm behind a proxy. How do I set up
either TileCache or Apache to handle this? I've searched the Apache
documentation but "Apache proxy" obviously comes up with all sorts of stuff
I don't need.

Somebody told me that Apache doesn't really do this, I have to set the
script itself to handle the proxy.

Is this correct?
