[Tilecache] How to use TileCache as a TMS-server?

Sorry, to clarify, when you said "I know how to use TileCache with a
TileCache-layer", did you mean a WMS layer or the actual TileCache layer
constructor?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but configuring a TMS layer for TileCache
would be possible, but the end result would be the same as
OpenLayers.Layer.TileCache.
