More thoughts on how to handle the adventure/challenge: the reality is
that companies and organizations would likely not approve funding to
attend an "OSGeo Charter Members meeting", so that is why we are
thinking of leveraging an existing event, one that companies and
organizations will likely fund travel for, such as the OSGeo Code Sprint.
It seems to make the most sense, for a chance at getting many Charter
Members together. (exact numbers might not be great, but it gives
charter members a good reason to try to attend, and contribute to their
favorite OSGeo projects on the same trip)
