[Ubuntu] Hello and thanks

Dear list members!

I just installed ubuntu (jaunty for now in a VM) and run it on a
netbook, and I am pleased to find the repository for GIS in ubuntu in
quite a good shape. Thanks for the work!

I am a surveyor and working on an agricultural topic (image processing
and GIS included). I am going to start a server with GIS/SDI components
and might also post here, if there are questions...
