Thanks for the speedy reply - I never would have figured this out on my own.
You're right, I have the ppa in my sources list. I'm going to try this first
thing tomorrow morning - if it works maybe I can write it up as a howto (with
credit to you, of course) for the Ubuntu GIS wiki?
