[Ubuntu] qgis segmentation error

Dear All,

The Qgis won't start on my linux mint 7(gloria)(-ubuntu 9.04) 64 bit  
version (either 1.2. nor 1.3)
the error is: segmentation fault (core dumped).
I have updated the newest releases from ppa.launchpad.

does somebody know about this error?
