[Ubuntu] GDAL 1.7.3

Hi Tom,

Yes, packaging 1.7.3 is on my list. However, Karmic is no longer supported, so 
I wont build the package for it. Once the package for Lucid will be made.. it 
should very easy to rebuild it on your karmic machine without (or a few) 
modifications (IIRC).
