Hi,

out of an effort to make things better, can I ask where GRASS's
PCA tools were deficient? We gave them a good overhaul last year,
including successful cross-validation vs. R's offerings. Aside
from a minor metadata limitation when PCA'ing dozens of images
at the same time I'm not aware of any problems -- and so would
be most interested to hear of anything lacking, so that it may
be fixed for all.
