[Ubuntu] gdal 1.9.1 installation

While compiling gdal from source is extremly useful (and quite rewarding),
i wouldnt  recomment downloading the  pre-compliled package: (first do a
make uninstall in the directory you "baked" gdal on your own, you might
need to sudo it)

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntugis/ubuntugis-unstable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gdal

to check if you have the correct version of gdal install run:

gdal-config --version
