[Ubuntu] Noob question: Does GDAL in the UbuntuGIS (or universe/science) packages have GRIB2 support?

Upgrading gdal to 1.9 is very easy, just use the ubuntugis-unstable
package instead of ubuntugis-stable, then run
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

https://launchpad.net/~ubuntugis/+archive/ubuntugis-unstable
