[Ubuntu] UbuntuGIS - Google Summer of Code - packaging Java based OSGeo applications

Hi,
I'd like to support OSGeo Live with my Java and Ubuntu knowledge to help
getting Java packages apt-get installable.
I don't have much time, but an hour a day I could maybe spend on this.
Please let me know if this helps and on which packages you like me to
start working on.
