[Ubuntu] Packaging Orfeo Toolbox for Debian

Hi,

I'm currently doing a workshop about packaging GIS applications at Libre
Software Meeting[1] and a participant came up with the idea to talk over
Orfeo Toolbox into main Debian. I think this is a good idea and
perfectly in line with the attempt to support UbuntuGIS packages. I
have simply fetched the latest (hopefully?) *.dsc targeting at

   dget https://launchpad.net/~otb/+archive/ubuntu/orfeotoolbox-staging-stable-ubuntugis/+files/otb_4.0.0-1otb1%7Etrusty2.dsc

and injected the packaging to

   Vcs-Git: git://anonscm.debian.org/pkg-grass/otb.git

Some work was done in the direction of a Debian GIS compliant package to
demonstrate the packaging in the Debian GIS team. However, the
packaging remains with several lintian issues and I personally do not
feel competent to solve them all since I do not have any idea about OTB.
For instance it remains an open question whether we should move the set of

    /usr/bin/otbgui_*
    /usr/bin/otbcli_*

files rather to

    /usr/lib/otbgui
    /usr/lib/otbcli

and leave only the main executable (otbgui and otbcli) in /usr/bin and
setting the PATH accordingly. At least from an uninformed point where I
am this somehow sensible.

I also do not feel really capable to finish and upload this package to
Debian but if there is some volunteer with more insight into the package
I would be happy to guide the furtherly needed work.

Kind regards and thanks to the OTB team to provide OTB as free software

     Andreas.
