Hi Rashad,

Good point. I just commited this list as "Upstream-Contact" in the
debian/control file. For those who did not noticed: The packaging
work targeting at a Debian package is done here:

    git clone git://anonscm.debian.org/pkg-grass/otb.git

Any member of the Debian GIS team has commit permission. So if you
intend to become a member - anybody is welcome.

I can confirm

 $ otbcli
Usage : /usr/bin/otbApplicationLauncherCommandLine module_name [MODULEPATH] [arguments]
 $ otbgui
Usage : /usr/bin/otbApplicationLauncherQt module_name [module_path]

To come back to my original arguing: It seems

     /usr/bin/otbApplicationLauncher*

are not intended to be called by the user but the user rather should use
the shell script wrappers. In this case we could consider to move

    /usr/bin/otbApplicationLauncher*  to   /usr/lib/otb

... but these are also details and no major point. Just explaining the
principle.

Kind regards and thanks again for your cooperation

      Andreas.
