[OSGeo-UK] UK OSGeo Local Chapter now official

Dear All,

This is just a little note to say that the UK local OSGeo chapter has now been officially recognised by OSGeo, as of January 9th. This is great news, and testimony to the hard work that people have put in, and to everyone that has expressed an interest.

I hope that we can start to do good things with our web presence fairly soon, but in the mean time, if you haven't already signed up for the mailing list or checked out the wiki, then please do (http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/United_Kingdom)
