Dear All,

This might be an interesting conference to attend- there is a session on open source GIS, and a few familiar faces presenting. I have been in touch with the organisers regarding some space for OSGeo to meet up, but they didn't feel it was all that appropriate- but I don't think there would be a problem with an informal meetup in one of Durham's many fine pubs. Use this list to arrange meeting up, if anyone is planning to go along.

All the best

Jo

====================================

GISRUK 2009 is approaching and this week is the final week for registering. The Programme is now available on the conference website at www.ceg.ncl.ac.uk/gisruk2009 You can see that we have a wide-ranging set of presentations addressing all aspects of GI Science, excellent keynote speakers, and a social programme of note. There are a couple of worthwhile pre-conference workshops also which still have places.

Please disseminate this message to colleagues from undergraduates to professors: GISRUK, as always, will address the full scope of GIS research.

Please register to attend this conference before Friday 20 March through the website or directly at http://www.dur.ac.uk/conference.booking/details/?id=23.
