Hi Saber
Jo Cook and I were there - Jo has some good reports in her blog, http://www.archaeogeek.com/blog/, no doubt more to follow. To my mind it was an excellent conference - not sure if there was anything too UK-specific, except that there were surprisingly few UK attendees (c 20 of c 850), and no UK academic institutions came up in a list of those teaching FOSS4G! There was a discussion about sponsorship of OSGeo generally, and this is something we could pick up on in our next meeting - plus happy to debrief on anything else. Highlights for me were the OpenGeo stuff, and the high level of innovation, and standards-compliant and interoperability work going on - impressive.
Antony
