Thanks Jo for pointing us to the Group.

Another way in which people can contribute/interact with QGIS users is QGIS
mailing list [1], which does not reflect the number of QGIS users in UK at
the moment.

they do, but there's a new QGIS UK User's Group (UKUG) on Google+ that you
might wish to join. It looks like it's going to be a good place to share
