[OSGeo-UK] PostGIS Day in Edinburgh POSTPONED

Due to a shortage of speakers to fill the day I have decided to postpone the PostGIS day until next year.  I know there will be some disappointed people but I don't think it would be worth it for those people traveling from afar for a short day.

There are a couple of options available coming out of discussions at the AGI conference this week.  We could:

*       With OSGeo and AGI help host a PostGIS focus group evening in Edinburgh or Glasgow

*       Expand the next QGIS user group to include a PostGIS stream as I know folk from the QGIS group had signed up.

On the positive side I met some PostGIS users at AGI GeoCom from Land Registry who would be able to contribute to the day and are happy to share their expertise at an event.
