[OSGeo-UK] PostGIS Day update

In addition to Jo’s email there are still tickets available for the PostGIS Day event in Edinburgh (http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/postgis-day-tickets-13537381673) if you can’t get to London, and there also places available for speakers.

Two presentations have already been submitted but more would make the day oh-so much better.  We have a “PostGIS surgery” session in the programme to which you can bring your queries/issues and the group can help you solve the problem.

Just a quick note to say that all the tickets for our PostGIS show and tell day (http://osgeouk.github.io/pgday/) are now reserved. If you have a ticket and can't make it, then please do cancel on the eventbrite page (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/postgis-day-tickets-13226598111) to free up your ticket. Similarly, if you missed out, but would like a ticket, then let me know, and if any come free I will contact you.

We've had a few submissions for talks, but we need more! Please do submit either a 30 minute talk or a 10 minute "lightning talk" on your cool PostGIS thing to osgeouk at gmail.com<mailto:osgeouk at gmail.com>. Don't be shy!

We are also considering a "PostGIS clinic" where you can ask questions and hopefully someone in the audience will be able to help you out.

We look forward to seeing you at BCS HQ on the 20th.
