There has been quite a lot of interest in people wanting to become
charter members, so I'm forwarding the instructions from the main
discuss list. As a reminder, membership is open this week, so if
you're interested, find yourself a member to nominate you!

Dear charter members,

This year OSGeo elections [1] will start tomorrow on Sep. 23, 2019, with
the nomination period for new Charter Members.

The nomination period for Charter Members will be open for the next four
 weeks, as stated in the Charter Membership process [2]. Candidate
review and voting will follow through our electronic voting system.

Charter member nomination period starts: Sep. 23, 2019
Charter member nomination period ends: Oct. 20, 2019

Charter member candidate review and voting period starts: Oct. 21, 2019
Charter member candidate review and voting period ends: Oct. 27, 2019

You can see the progress of the nominations on [3].

Please, send your nomination to cro at osgeo.org (not to this list) with
the following information:
