Hi Folks,
QGIS are interested in learning more about how open source GIS is used
in universities and the public sector. I'm sending this on behaf of Kurt
Menke, of the QGIS Trainer Network. I hope I can reach out to UK public
sector bodies and contractors for the public sector who are using open
source GIS (including, but not only QGIS) with this survey, particually
focusing on training in and for the public sector.
They want to develop teaching standards, best practices, syllabi and
educational materials tailored to practical needs. They also want to
know your current challenges and what could be done to overcome them.
The survey is online at

They would like responses by the end of April 2026.
The results will be presented during the QGIS User Conference 2026 in
Laax, Switzerland (October 5-6, 2026).
Your voices shape the future of open-source GIS education!
Any questions, please do ask myself or Kurt.
Best wishes,
Nick.
