Good morning,
The OGC "Builder Days" will take place at Geovation
<https://geovation.uk/>, London (UK), on May 11-13. This will be a
collaborative and inclusive event to support the development of
OpenStandards and applications implementing those standards./Non-coding
activities such as testing, working on //documentation// or reporting
issues are welcome and encouraged during the Sprint/. Code Sprints also
provide an opportunity to onboard those who are new to the standards,
through the sprint’s mentor stream
<https://github.com/opengeospatial/developer-events/wiki/May-2026-Builder-Days-Code-Sprint#mentor-streams>.
This sprint focuses on three key topics, although participants are
welcome to work on other Standards:
* The GEOINT Imagery Media for Intelligence, Surveillance, and
Reconnaissance (GIMI) standard.
* The development of a JSON encoding for the Geoscience Markup
Language (GeoSciML) standard.
* The 3D Tiles community standard and glTF - the primary tile format
of 3D Tiles.
Registration for onsite and remote participation is now live at:
